Manage and run an effective inclusion room to support students needing behaviour intervention. Ensure students are engaged in learning, integrated into school life, and supported in their behavioural development.
Key Responsibilities
- Inclusion Room Management:
Organise and run sessions to help students reflect and improve behaviour in a calm, supportive environment. - Behaviour Interventions:
Develop short- and long-term intervention plans to reintegrate students into mainstream lessons. - Student Support:
Mentor and engage students with personalized activities, ensuring they make positive progress. - Collaboration:
Work with teaching staff to create resources, gain insight into curriculum, and support behaviour management. - Reintegration:
Plan and monitor student transitions back into regular classes. - Family Engagement:
Support families to increase student involvement and improvement in behaviour. - Staff Training:
Provide guidance to staff on behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques. - External Agencies:
Liaise with external organizations to ensure cohesive student support.
General Responsibilities
- Support performance management and equal opportunities.
- Contribute to the school’s overall mission and goals.
- Complete other tasks as required by the Headteacher.
Qualifications & Skills
- At-least 2 Year of Experience with behavioural or SEND needs.
- Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
