Reports to: Senior Leadership Team
Salary Range: £34,000 – £51,000
Purpose:
- Improve student progress and achievement in Year 7.
- Deliver an inclusive and balanced curriculum.
- Lead by example in teaching excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster professional development for support staff.
- Address Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Innovate the Year 7 curriculum and ensure high teaching standards.
- Track and improve student performance using data.
- Collaborate with families, support, and therapy teams.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Relevant degree, QTS, KS3/KS4 teaching experience.
- Desirable: SEN qualification, experience with SEMH students.
Skills:
- Strong communication, teamwork, resilience, and a reflective approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and equality.
